Validating an SAP migration from R/3 to S/4HANA used to be one of Bosch's most painful jobs – a manual comparison of old- and new-system output built on Excel formulas and macros, taking two engineers and roughly 12 hours per plant, all during a production-halting "dark phase" and prone to human error. The Bosch Digital team shows how they replaced the manual process with a single guided Knime workflow. Running 100+ nodes across pre- and post-load checks on millions of rows, hosted on Knime Hub with a data app front end, it cut validation from 12 hours to about six minutes – a 95%+ reduction – shortening the dark phase and scaling across plants in the APAC region.
