Please remember that if you have Community Contributions installed in your executor, make sure to include the Community Contributions update site in the update-executor.sh command (see example below). Otherwise your installation may not start properly any more, especially when updating from 4.6 to 4.7.

Server Installation
Note! As of KNIME Server 4.13.0, all installations of KNIME Server are based on Apache Tomcat. Support for Apache TomEE has been discontinued.
Server Upgrades
- Server Release Notes and Update Guide (PDF) for updates from KNIME Server 4.15.x, or 0.0.x updates on the 4.16 release line.

For updates to 4.16.x from 4.15.x or 4.14.x follow the instructions in the Server Release Notes and Update Guide.
For updates from older KNIME Server versions you should use the installer and choose the existing workflow repository at install time. For 0.0.x updates on the 4.16 release line, you may also follow the instructions in the Server Release Notes and Update Guide.

KNIME Server Executor
If you want to use KNIME Analytics Platform 5.1.0 or higher as an executor on Linux you must make sure that an X Display is available. Find more detailed instructions here.
Our executor builds no longer include community extensions, and customers are required to install them if their workflows depend on these extensions.
It's possible to use the KNIME Server installer to install the KNIME Server Executor, although in some cases it may be more convenient to use the stand-alone packages.
The current version of KNIME Server Executor is 4.7.8, 5.1.3 & 5.2.1
- KNIME Server Executor version for 64bit Windows (Note: for performance reasons, please don't use the integrated Windows tool for unzipping, but rather an external tool such as 7zip)
- KNIME Server Executor version for 64bit Linux

KNIME Analytics Platform
The current version of KNIME Analytics Platform is 5.2.1, the software can be found on the download page.KNIME Big Data Extensions

You need to install the following:
