How KNIME started as a PoC in the Americas and ended up being rolled out globally to become the go-to data analytics and data wrangling tool at Société Générale. Aadesh presents KNIME use cases from various audits, as well as reporting examples. Aadesh joined Société Générale as the Group Head of Audit for IT and LatAm Audit in September 2017 and subsequently started heading Operations Audits in March 2021. He is also the Chief Innovation Officer for the Internal Audit department in Americas.

In this use case, they have applied it to the area of anti-money laundering, where they are using it to uncover unknown patterns rather than the usual known patterns in an effort to reduce money laundering activities.
