Bilal currently works as senior chemoinformatics scientist at Moa technology. Moa is an agricultural biotech firm spun out of Oxford University. Aided by novel screening platforms and huge amounts of proprietary data, powered by AI and machine learning, Moa is determined to find new ways to control weeds faster, more accurately and more reliably. In his current role, Bilal is responsible for developing and implementing data processing pipelines in KNIME for various departments within the company. He also support internal projects with designing novel herbicide molecules using generative AI and various computational chemistry techniques.
