KNIME 5.9 is Here: Bring Transparency to Agent Behavior

We're closing out 2025 with our final release of the year. KNIME Analytics Platform 5.9 gives you deeper visibility into how agents behave, and lowers the barrier to reusing existing workflows, so you can move faster without losing control. This release turns agent runs into workflows you can visually trace and audit, making them easier to govern, and makes existing workflows easier to grasp and adapt, whether you’re building advanced agent systems or just getting started with KNIME.

Turn opaque agent behavior into concrete, auditable workflows: When you build agents, one of the biggest concerns is governance: “What exactly did the agent do, and can I trust it?” The Agent Chat Widget node can now generate a workflow from an agent run where every tool the agent used appears as a component, in the order it was called. You get a visual, step-by-step trace that you can inspect to understand agent behavior.
