Data Science Experts on Different Platforms for Different Audiences

Originally started as a LinkedIn Live event, My Data Guest is now accessible across multiple platforms. Whether you prefer watching the livestream on LinkedIn or Twitter, revisiting past episodes on YouTube, reading the interviews as blog posts on Medium, or listening on Spotify on your way to work, we’ve got you covered.

My Data Guest is a series of monthly interviews with data professionals in the KNIME community, including scientists, team managers, researchers, accountants, engineers, challenge winners, women in tech, KNIME Contributors of the Month, and more.

Experts from different industries, each with their unique perspective and expertise, have a friendly space to share valuable insights about their professions, showcase their most exciting projects, and discuss how they leverage KNIME Analytics Platform and its free, open-source ecosystem to build advanced analytics solutions.

The Best of My Data Guest Season 1

As we look back on the first season, we’re grateful for the support we've received from our followers. While reflecting on this milestone, we remember all the incredible people who helped make it happen, from our dedicated internal team to our amazing guests.

Hosted by Rosaria Silipo, Head of Data Science Evangelism at KNIME, the podcast began in September 2021 and is now in the midst of Season 2, which kicked off in September 2022 with an interview with Prof. Francisco Villarroel of LUISS University around text processing in marketing, teaching practices, and the gamification of learning. Thanks to its diverse lineup of guests, every episode touches on a range of topics, analytical domains, and implementations.

A Look at Season 2 Episodes So Far

Our Goal for the My Data Guest Interviews

We strive to craft a unified format and consistent structure, tone, and rhythm across all our interviews. Our goal is to make our conversations easy for the audience to digest and pleasant for the interviewees.

We pose a few customary questions that investigate their professional responsibilities, their experience with KNIME Analytics Platform and how it has impacted their work, and their related projects and contacts to stay in touch with the audience. To make it easier for you to listen to them, the interviews are available on multiple channels.

LinkedIn – Interact with Fellow Professionals

Our guests are professionals in the KNIME community, so LinkedIn Live was the natural platform to begin this journey. Attending the livestream comes with a little perk: The audience can ask questions in the chat directly of the guest(s) featured on the show, which are addressed toward the end of each episode. Follow Rosaria on LinkedIn to never miss a live interview!
