This course is designed to provide a supervised introduction to the KNIME Analytics Platform. Learn to import data from a variety of sources, manipulate data, build & evaluate a simple model, visualize results, and generate simple reports. Topics include:

    Text Mining with the KNIME Analytics Platform Course

This course is focused on the processing and mining of textual data with the KNIME Analytics Platform using the Text Processing extension. Learn to read textual data in KNIME, enrich semantically, preprocess, transform into numerical data, and finally cluster, visualize, and build predictive models. Text mining experience is not required for this training. Topics covered include:

    KNIME Big Data Extensions & Data Mining with Spark Course

Instructor: Tobias Kötter and Björn Lohrmann (KNIME)

This training will focus on database nodes and configuration with KNIME Analytics Platform, as well as KNIME Big Data Connectors and KNIME Spark Executor commercial extensions. Learn how to:

  • Connect to different databases such as Hive
  • Perform in-database processing
  • Write data into a database
  • Handle HDFS files
  • Pass data to Spark
  • Do data pre-processing in Spark
  • Learn models with Spark MLlib
  • Export data from Spark into KNIME and Hadoop

Attendees will get a one year single-user license subscription for the KNIME Big Data Connectors and the KNIME Spark Executor.
