KNIME User Meetup in Rome, January 2017

- Il Pomodorino, Via Campania 45/e, Rome, RM

Welcome to our next KNIME Italy Meetup!

This time we have chosen Rome!

This time’s topic is “More thinking, less tinkering”. We will have two talks showing how KNIME can help you reduce the time spent on tinkering your script and focus more on the results, them being scientific discoveries, score optimization, or new first time projects!

The first speaker is Alessandro Sparaci and the main inspiration for this meetup.

He will cover his KNIME user experience and how he managed to get great scientific results in laboratory biology in record times (with great academic results as well).

The second talk will be held by Vincenzo Tursi, a KNIME employee. He will take you through a tour of an email dataset, showing through graphs and plots, the topics discussed in each email and the network of recipients involved . Of course, the techniques used to detect the topics and to visualize content and users will be explained step by step.
