Dresden is an Eldorado for data mining and many local analysts using KNIME in their day-to-day work. We (Dresden KNIME Users) want to continue the series of KNIME meetups and invite you to the second KNIME Meetup on May 17, 2018.
As a small group of data science enthusiasts and part of the KNIME Community since 2011 — you might have heard of the Selenium and Palladian Nodes — we are interested in learning about the small and impressive, obscure and obvious discoveries others are doing with KNIME or have developed in the context of KNIME. Our focus is both applications of KNIME, and development of new nodes and their functionalities. Furthermore, if you have recently discovered KNIME and still feel overwhelmed by all the possibilities, it's a great platform to receive support and advice from experts.
Christian Dietz from KNIME will join the meetup and talk about Deep Learning in KNIME. Christian is one of the main developers behind the Image Processing and Deep Learning extensions at KNIME. He's also a big supporter of the KNIME community.
We'd also like to hear more about your projects and breakthroughs. Hence, we're introducing a lightning talk session. If there is something you want to share, just prepare a very short presentation (few minutes) and demo it to the audience. If interest for a specific topic arises during the meetup, we suggest talking about it while enjoying some food and drinks.
- 18:30: Welcome including pizza/snacks and drinks
- 19:00: KNIME Deep Learning with Christian Dietz
- 19:30: Lightning Talks
- 20:00: Get Together and Networking
