Special Interest Group High Content Analytics
High Content Screening is becoming increasing important - in parallel, processing and analyzing the resulting wealth of information is also receiving growing attention. Several groups have already added components to the open source data analytics environment KNIME for this task. In order to coordinate ongoing developments and stimulate new activities as well as the integration with existing toolkits, a special interest group High Content Analytics (SIG-HCA) was recently created. The aim of this group is to coordinate and support the activities to expand the open source platform KNIME to cover the complete High Content Screening workflow. The kick off meeting of the Special Interest Group SIG-HCA was held in conjunction with the 3rd KNIME Users Meeting in Zurich, Switzerland.
