Michael Berthold is co-founder and CEO of KNIME, the open analytics platform used by thousands of data experts around the world. Until recently, he was professor at Konstanz University, where his research interests included bisociative data analysis and widening of mining algorithms. Before that he held positions in both academia (Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley) and industry (Intel, Tripos). Michael has co-authored two successful data analysis text books and is a frequent speaker at both academic and industrial conferences. If time permits he still builds workflows.



Hassan Jan helps organizations manage risk using data analytics and new technologies. He completed his CPA designation in 2017 and has enjoyed a diverse career spanning global firms including PwC, KPMG and Fidelity Canada. Although Hassan is a CPA by trade, he is a data enthusiast at heart!



Marcel Meyer is leading the Data Governance and Management function for CRM Excellence at Siemens Healthineers. With over 20 years of professional experience in various functions such as Supply Chain, Finance, CRM, and Project Management on various levels across a multinational company, he and his team innovate the way data is made available, usable, and accessible in a business-friendly way for sales teams and sales leaders within Siemens Healthineers. Marcel is living and working in the greater area of New York, USA.



Jason Wertheimer has had dynamic and accomplished career with over 25 years of experience in the field of media data operations, quality assurance, and data integrations across diverse tech stacks. Wherever Jason has been, he has brought unparalleled blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and technical expertise and has been able to harness the power of data to drive business success on behalf of his clients in an increasing evolving and complex media landscape. In Jason’s current role as SVP, Media Tech & Data at Horizon he is charged with ensuring the smooth operation of all the Media Tech teams platforms and processes. This in includes, but is not limited to data and platform governance, data quality assurance, product and process documentation and access.





Michael Richter, a seasoned professional in Business Intelligence, passionately leverages data-driven insights to excel in driving business excellence. With 20+ years of experience in the automotive and financial sectors, Michael consistently transforms raw data into actionable strategies, completing the last mile. As an industry leader, he has led successful initiatives, including implementing advanced BI solutions with KNIME and its community. Michael optimizes sales, enhances customer experiences, and is dedicated to innovation and excellence, earning recognition from partners and peers. Currently the Director of Business Intelligence at Hennessy Automobile Companies, his leadership improves operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and fuels business growth. Jim Falgout is a technologist at KNIME. He first started working with KNIME as a partner in the (somewhat) early days of KNIME. He joined KNIME a few years ago to help get an office started in the US, supporting customers, helping sales and building out the US team.He has now returned to his technological roots, as a co-CTO focusing on the commercial side of KNIME software. You'll find he's always interested in anything cloud, distributed computing, ideas, systems and dogs.





Lee Fader holds the role of Vice president of Chemistry at Congruence Therapeutics. With 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he now leads small molecule drug discovery efforts from the Intersection of medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, and artificial intelligence to discover new medicines for patients suffering from rare diseases.





Wali Khan helps enterprises turn their data into valuable AI/ML models as a Regional Director. Wali earned his technical merits leading KNIME’s US Solution Engineers, and was originally a Solution Engineer himself. Before joining KNIME, Wali spent a few years at Oracle after getting his MS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas Arlington, and BS in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.





Jennifer Ostyn currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Customer Care for the U.S.at KNIME. Prior to joining KNIME a year and a half ago, Jennifer operated in a similar role as Senior Vice President of Sales for Equifax Commercial. With over 20 years’ experience in the data, analytics and software space, she is considered an accomplished sales leader with expertise in developing strategic teams and coaching individuals towards their objectives while delivering on results. Adept at vision creation and strategic planning, Jennifer also thrives in high pressure situations and making decisive decisions. Jennifer engages her communication, collaboration, and partnership facilitation skillset across her corporate responsibilities as well as her passion for philanthropic work in numerous organizations. Jennifer has a passion for travel, physical fitness and relishes the opportunity to have a tennis racket in her hand whenever possible!
