KNIME is a popular free and open source platform for Data Science and Machine Learning. In this introductory talk, we show how it can be used to build a data workflow to build rich data manipulation applications and to train and apply machine learning algorithms for a wide variety of descriptive and predictive tasks. KNIME has been known for its unparalleled user-friendly interface and its openness to many useful tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and libraries. This talk will present the latest release (KNIME 5.1), which has adopted powerful generative AI capabilities in its interface, turning it into a more friendly and powerful tool than ever.
