In this workflow we convert raw customer transactions, that is contract registrations, into money measures on one side and loyalty features on the other side. The idea is to move from a list of transactions to one or a few numbers describing an aspect of the customer activity. Here we have chosen money and loyalty. Money as total amount of money paid by customer or as amount paid per year. Loyalty as # of days under contract or as loyalty ratio (= # effective days / total number of days till now).
