Call Local Workflow

Here we demo how to use the Call Local workflow node, which can execute another workflow in your local repository. This is really handsome, e.g. for reusing functionality.

We are performing a prediction task. The german credit data is scored via a previously built model. The workflow is called once per input line and will get a JSON cell as input parameters. The output of the node is a JSON as well, which can be finally parsed using the JSON to Table node.

Please note, that you need the Personal Productivity Licence to use the Call Local Workflow node.

Call a Workflow on a Server

Here we demonstrate how a workflow can execute another server, lying on the KNIME Server. First the file is read using the File Reader. The file contains the german credit data which we want to score using a prebuilt model. This scoring is done in another workflow. To send the data point to the workflow we first will transform it into a JSON document using the Table to JSON node. Afterwards this JSON object is send to the remote workflow lying on the server.
