Go Big with Actian DataFlow and KNIME
This meetup returns with a very special event, a hands-on tutorial. Demonstrating on the free version of Actian DataFlow, Actian Data Scientist Josh Poduska will be in Redwood City on August 6 to teach a sneak peak class. In this workshop, KNIME pros can learn how to implement KNIME's default and DataFlow executors and how to use flowable and non-flowable nodes cooperatively. KNIME beginners will also learn lots of great tips and KNIME interface shortcuts. Bring your laptops!

Our speaker at this event is Josh Poduska. Josh is the Senior Data Scientist with Actian Corporation. He has 13 years of experience in architecting, consulting, teaching, and implementing applied data mining solutions in a wide variety of application areas. Josh's previous positions include Predivtive Analytics Solutions Architect at IBM and Senior Statistican at Intel. He holds a Master's in Applied Statistics from Cornell University and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine.
