Data visualization is a powerful part of data science and advanced BI. It allows you to not only see hidden patterns in your data, but also communicate the results more clearly and efficiently.
You're welcome to join this workshop on data visualization techniques. Jeany from KNIME will demonstrate how to efficiently summarize data groups or data transitions in a composite interactive and controlled view from within KNIME Analytics Platform as well as from a web browser. It will be a bit like a learnathon - after a brief introduction to the nodes and techniques, we'll work in small teams on use cases and guided exercises.
We are also pleased to have Jacobo Miranda from NodePit join us! NodePit is the world’s first search engine that allows you to easily search, find, and install KNIME nodes and workflows. A project driven by the KNIME User+Developer Group Dresden, NodePit focusses on supporting the large KNIME community around the globe. Jacobo will talk about what NodePit is, why the project was started, future plans, and how everybody can participate.
It will also be a great opportunity to meet data science and data visualization experts as well as network with other members of the KNIME community, and hear about the diverse data science projects they are working on.
To get the most out of this meetup, please bring your own laptops, with KNIME pre installed. To install KNIME Analytics Platform, simply follow the instructions in these YouTube videos:
