Workshop: Data Mining and Machine Learning with KNIME Analytics Platform, Stockholm

- SciLifeLab, Tomtebodavägen 23A, Solna, Stockholm

Data Mining and Machine Learning techniques have a wide variety of exciting applications nowadays. Join us at this workshop to explore the foundations of such applications and how they can be implemented with KNIME Analytics Platform. Together with SciLifeLab, we are hosting an event that will first of all bring you up to speed with KNIME Analytics Platform and then give you the opportunity to apply what you have learned in groups together with like-minded people

KNIME Analytics Platform is an open, open-source, GUI driven, data analytics platform, that covers all your data needs from data import to final deployment.

After an initial introduction to the tool, we will split in groups to work on different use cases. If you have a use-case that you think could be interesting to work on, please prepare a brief elevator pitch for the task and we'll form a group.

We will provide a few datasets, jump-start workflows and final solutions for the proposed tasks, and of course data science experts. Please bring your own laptop with KNIME Analytics Platform pre-installed and download the workshop materials.

To install KNIME Analytics Platform, follow the instructions provided in these YouTube videos:

If you don't have the chance to download and install it, we will have USB drives with the software and workshop material available on site.

If you would like to get familiar with KNIME Analytics Platform, you can explore the content of our E-learning course.
