KNIME Report Server

KNIME Report Server is an extension to KNIME Report Designer and the KNIME Server products. Report templates created with the free KNIME Report Designer can be uploaded to a central Report Server. The templates can be accessed by the users through their regular web browser.

The user is presented with a list of all available report templates. He/she can select a report template from the list. If the report requires additional parameters the user is prompted to enter them. The report is subsequently generated from the actual data in the defined data source and presented in the user's browser window. The user can now save the report to his/her local PC in the desired format.

Depending on the server you choose to integrate as the backbone of the report server, you have access to additonal functionality. When combined with KNIME Server Lite any user can access and execute the report templates. When combined with KNIME Enterprise Server user access can be controlled and report execution can be scheduled.
